1.  Woodward Ave. in Detroit was the World's first poured concrete road.  It happened in 1909.





2.  A bleacher seat at Tiger Stadium went for $3.50 in 1984.





3.  Michigan's State fish is the book trout.  





4.  The Michigan Panthers won the 1st USFL (United States Football League) Championship in 1983.





5.  Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan is the 3rd oldest city in the United States.





6.  The Detroit Red Wings won their 1st NHL Stanley Cup in 1936.  They beat Toronto 3 games to 1.





7.  Tin Lizzie was the nickname for the Ford Model T.





8.  George Wilson was the Head Coach of the 1957 NFL World Champion Detroit Lions.





9.  Flint, Michigan is the birthplace of General Motors.





10. Ty Cobb played 24 seasons in Major League Baseball.  22 years were with the Detroit Tigers.
