NFL Free Agency Not Affected

     The NFL (National Football League) Free Agency period has not been affected by the recent events throughout our Country.  Most of the media attention has been focused around the future of QB Tom Brady, but all 32 teams are busy making transactions.  The Los Angeles Rams released RB Todd Gurley earlier today.
     The Detroit Lions have recently signed several players including LB Jamie Collins, QB Chase Daniel, S Jayron Kearse, DT Danny Shelton, CB Desmond Trufant, OL Halapoulivaati Vaitai, and DT Nick Williams.  The Detroit Lions traded away CB Darius Slay to the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Lions also made a trade with the New England Patriots to acquire S Duron Harmon.

-  The Detroit Lions recently released LB Devon Kennard, DT Damon "Snacks" Harrison, and OT Rick Wagner.



-  DT Mike Daniels, P Sam Martin, and S Tavon Wilson remain unsigned by the Detroit Lions.



-  The Detroit Lions are not expected to resign OL Graham Glasgow, QB Jeff Driskel, or A'Shawn Robinson.



-  The Detroit Lions recently resigned WR Danny Amendola.
