Aquinas College came into Friday's contest with a 10-1 overall record, but don't tell that to the Madonna Crusaders who hosted, and defeated Aquinas in double overtime (2-1) to improve their overall record to 5-5, with a 3-2 record in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).  Aquinas College dropped to 2-2 in the WHAC, with an overall record of 10-2.
There was no score after the first period of play, and mid-way through the second half, the game was still scoreless.  Aquinas College was awarded a penalty kick, and Michael Gagnon converted the attempt to open up the scoring book.  Madonna's Brandon Hess tied the game with twelve minutes left in regulation, and the contest remained 1-1, until Nick Peper scored the winning goal for Madonna with just 41 seconds left in double overtime.  Each overtime period consisted of ten minutes.
