On Friday, April 16th, the Eastern Michigan University Eagles defeated the Ball State University Cardinals 10-6. It was the opener of a four game series that was played this past weekend in Ypsilanti. The Cardinals defeated the Eagles 13-8 on Saturday afternoon, but the Eagles won the Saturday evening game 2-1. The Ball State University Cardinals are currently in 1st place in the MAC (Mid-American Conference) standings with a conference record of 12-4, and an overall record of 21-11. The Eastern Michigan University Eagles are currently in 10th place in the MAC standings with a conference record of 6-14, and an overall record of 10-19.
