2015 Founders Cup Results!

     The 2015 MUSL (Michigan United Soccer League) Founders Cup Tournament came to a conclusion earlier this month.  The MUSL features teams from all across Southeast Michigan, and there are separate divisions for different age groups.  This is the third straight year that the Mitten State Sports Report has covered the Founders Cup Results.  Click on the link below for more information about the Michigan United Soccer League. 2015 JLWS Recap!





The 35th Annual JLWS came to a conclusion last Sunday.  Chinese Taipei won for the 3rd straight year.











     The 35th Annual JLWS (Junior League World Series) came to a conclusion last Sunday.  Chinese Taipei won for the 3rd straight year defeating Frederick County (Virginia) 12-0 in the World Championship Game.  The Tournament was played at Heritage Park in Taylor.  Click on the link below for more information about the Junior League World Series.
     The United States pool featured 5 teams from all across the Country.  The East Region was represented by Ridgewood, New Jersey (2-2), the Southeast Region was represented by Frederick County, Virginia (2-2), the Central Region was represented by Johnston, Iowa (4-0), the Southwest Region was represented by Weslaco, Texas (0-4), and the West Region was represented by Pearl City, Hawaii (2-2).  Frederick County (Virginia) defeated Johnston (Iowa) 7-4 to win the 2015 United States Championship.
     The International pool featured 5 teams from all around the World.  Chinese Taipei (4-0) represented the Asia-Pacific Region, Villa Blanca (3-1) represented Puerto Rico, South Moravia, Czech Republic (1-3) represented the Europe & Africa Region, Aguadulce Cabezera, Panama (2-2) represented the Latin American Region, and Oakville, Ontario (0-4) represented the Canadian Region.  Chinese Taipei defeated Villa Blanca (Puerto Rico) 6-0 in the 2015 International Championship.

Cruisin' Hines 2015





The 5th Annual Cruisin' Hines took place last Sunday.  Scroll down to check out exclusive photos!

Loving Wins At Flat Rock!





Last Saturday, Robbie Loving and the #16 car won the 30 Lap Figure 8 Feature at Flat Rock Speedway.











     Last Saturday, Robbie Loving and the #16 car (pictured above) won the 30 Lap Figure 8 Feature at Flat Rock Speedway.  Greg Studt and the #33 car (pictured below) won the 100 Lap Street Stock Feature.  The evening also featured a 25 Lap Street Stock B Main race won by James Pankow, a Flag Pole Race won by Dennis Whisman, and a series of exhibition TKC Go-Kart races.  Click on the link below for more information about Flat Rock Speedway.

Weekly Car Show in Romulus





There's a weekly Classic Car Show every Thursday at the Blue Sky in Romulus.
