The Cleveland Indians are not a Mitten State team, but they've been one of my favorite teams for as long as I can remember.  Let's Go Tribe is a great website that features analysis, news, and editorials about the Cleveland Indians.  Some of the writers at Let's Go Tribe include Tyler Griffith, Matt Lyons, and Jason Philipps.  Let's Go Tribe is one 322 blogs on SB nation.
The Cleveland Indians are currently in 2nd place in the American League Central standings with an overall record of 93-67.  Cleveland was locked in a playoff race, but the Indians were eliminated from postseason contention last night.  The Cleveland Indians will finish up the 2019 MLB (Major League Baseball) regular season schedule with two more away games against the Washington Nationals.

Remember Rote

Bobby Layne, and Matthew Stafford are often mentioned when football fans talk about the greatest Detroit Lions Quarterbacks of all time.  Some Lions fans will even bring up former players like Scott Mitchell, Erik Kramer, and Greg Landry.  Rarely does Tobin Rote get credit for being one of the greatest Detroit Lions Quarterbacks of all time.
Tobin Rote played Quarterback for the Detroit Lions from 1957-1959.  Rote split time at Quarterback with Bobby Layne during the 1957 season, and eventually took over the role when Bobby Layne was injured towards the end of the regular season.  Rote lead Detroit to the 1957 NFL (National Football League) Championship Game where the Lions defeated the Cleveland Browns 59-14.  Detroit traded away an aging Bobby Layne early in the 1958 season partly because the Lions believed in Tobin Rote's ability.  Rote played the game ahead of his time, and was a weapon as a runner.  The Detroit Lions released Tobin Rote following the 1959 NFL season.
