Saints Left St. Clair Shores







     The St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints competed in the 2016-2017 FHL (Federal Hockey League) season, but the Saints have relocated to Ontario, Canada.  The North Shore Knights (Ontario, Canada) are one of two new teams competing in the 2017-2018 FHL season.  The Carolina Thunderbirds will also play their first season in the FHL as an expansion team.  The Port Huron Prowlers are the only remaining FHL franchise located in Michigan.  Click on the links below for more information about the FHL, or the Port Huron Prowlers.
     The FHL is a professional hockey league featuring 6 teams for the 2017-2018 season.  The FHL featured 7 teams last season, but the Danbury Titans, and the Berlin River Drivers both ceased operations.  The Cornwall Nationals, the Watertown Wolves, and the Danville Dashers also compete in the FHL. The Danville Dashers won the 2017 FHL Playoffs to claim the Commissioner's Cup.

-  Several FHL teams have folded since the league began operations in the 2010-2011 season.



-  The Port Huron Prowlers won the 2016 Commissioner's Cup.



-  The St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints finished the 2016-2017 FHL season with 40 points, and an overall record of 11-40 -3-1 (11 wins, 40 losses, 3 overtime wins, and 1 overtime loss).



-  The Mitten State Sports Report posted "FHL In Michigan"  on 2/13/2017.

USA 6-4 Green Bay





On Sunday, October 22nd, the USA NTDP U-17 Team defeated the Green Bay Gamblers 6-4.











     On Sunday, October 22nd, the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-17 Team defeated the Green Bay Gamblers 6-4.  Both teams compete in the Eastern Conference of the USHL (United States Hockey League).  The USA NTDP U-17 Team also defeated the Green Bay Gamblers 4-1 on Saturday, October 21st.  Both games were played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth.  Click on the links below for more information about the USHL, or the USA Hockey Arena.

Concordia vs. Marian Photos





On Saturday, October 21st, the Concordia University Cardinals defeated the Marian University Knights 39-36.






The Concordia University Cardinals currently have an overall record of 7-1.






The Marian University Knights currently have an overall record of 4-3.






Concordia University, and Marian University are both NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) programs.







Both schools compete against each other in the MSFA (Mid-States Football Association).





Saturday's game was played at Cardinal Stadium, in Ann Arbor.

Concordia 39-36 Marian





On Saturday, October 21st, the Concordia University Cardinals outlasted the Marian University Knights 39-36.











     On Saturday, October 21st, the Concordia University Cardinals outlasted the Marian University Knights 39-36.  The Marian University Knights missed a game tying, chip shot field goal as time expired.  The Concordia University Cardinals, and the Marian University Knights are both NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) programs, and both schools compete against each other in the MSFA (Mid-States Football Association).  Click on the links below for more information about the NAIA, or the MSFA.

-  Cardinals QB #6 Seth Suida went 17-29 for 261 yards, 4 Touchdowns, and 0 Interceptions.



-  Cardinals RB #13 Joe Conner carried the ball 28 times for 150 yards.



-  Cardinals WR #88 Donte Desalle made 9 receptions for 195 yards, and 3 Touchdowns.



-  The Cardinals only loss of the season was to #1 ranked University of St. Francis (Indiana) 35-18.

College Hockey Is Back





On Thursday, October 5th, the University of Michigan Dearborn hockey team defeated Lawrence Tech University 8-0.











     On Thursday, October 5th, the University of Michigan Dearborn hockey team defeated the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils 8-0 in Dearborn.  The University of Michigan Dearborn, and Lawrence Tech University are both NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) schools, and both teams compete in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).  The NAIA, and the WHAC are now recognizing men's ice hockey as a sport for the 2017-2018 season.  Click on the links below for more information about the NAIA, or the WHAC.
     The University of Michigan Dearborn hockey team currently has an overall record of 7-1-1 (1 shootout loss).  The Wolverines are currently ranked #9 in the Country according to the latest ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) Division 1 Poll.  The Wolverines are scheduled to compete in two separate Conference/League postseason tournaments this season including the 2018 WHAC Postseason Tournament, and the 2018 GLCHL (Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League) Playoffs.  Scroll down to see exclusive photos of the Wolverines 8-0 victory over the Blue Devils.  Click on the links below for more information about the ACHA, the GLCHL, or the University of Michigan Dearborn athletic program.

UofM-D Baseball





The University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines now have a baseball program.  Scroll down to see exclusive photos.  











     The University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines now have a baseball program.  The Wolverines have an overall record of 0-9 after finishing up their Spring portion of the schedule for the 2017-2018 season.  The University of Michigan Dearborn is a NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school, and the Wolverines compete in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).  Click on the links below for more information about the NAIA, or the WHAC.
     On Sunday, October 1st, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines lost to the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers 10-3.  Sunday's game concluded a three game series that was played at Ray Fisher Stadium, in Ann Arbor.  The Wolverines from Dearborn also dropped two games to the Racers the previous day by scores of 10-1, and 11-0.

SC Men's Soccer





On Saturday, September 30th, the Schoolcraft College Men's soccer team defeated Muskegon Community College 7-0. 











    The Schoolcraft College Men's soccer team is ranked #3 in the Country.  The Ocelots are in 1st place in the MCCAA (Michigan Community College Athletic Association), and currently have an overall record of 11-0.  Schoolcraft College is a NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) program.

SC Women's Soccer





On Saturday, September 30th, the Schoolcraft College Women's soccer team defeated Muskegon Community College 6-0.











     The Schoolcraft College Women's soccer team is off to another tremendous start in the 2017 season.  Schoolcraft College is ranked #9 in the Country, and the Ocelots currently have an overall record of 6-0.  Schoolcraft College competes in Region 12 of the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association), and the Ocelots play in the MCCAA (Michigan Community College Athletic Association).
