Fathead: Michigan Made

     I recently installed some Fathead graphics in the offices of the Mitten State Sports Report.  I was impressed by their life like image, and how easily they can be removed from the wall.  Fathead wall decals have been around since 2006, and their headquarters are located in Michigan.  Fathead wall decals come in all different sizes, and they're not just for sports fans.  There are Disney Graphics, Nursery Graphics, Instant Windows, and wall decals that cover the music, and movie industries.  Fathead even has wall graphics for animals, trees, and vehicles.  Click on the link below for more information about Fathead wall decals.

Bowling Archives: mdusbc.com

     www.mdusbc.com is a great website operated by the Metro Detroit USBC (United States Bowling Congress).  The website features news, and information regarding rules, records, and local tournaments. Bowling has always been popular in Michigan, but the sport continues to grow at the High School, and College levels.  Click on the link below for more information about the Metro Detroit United States Bowling Congress.
     Michigan Kingpins was a 30 minute television show that ran episodes on Comcast Local 900, and CW50 Detroit from August, 2013 -  May, 2015.  Michigan Kingpins was produced by the State Champs Sports Network, and was also produced in cooperation with the Metro Detroit USBC Bowling Association.  www.mdusbc.com features archived episodes of Michigan Kingpins, and also features recent episodes of a newer show called Bowling Showcase.

Crusaders vs. Racers

On Friday, the Madonna University Crusaders hosted the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers for a doubleheader.

     On Friday, the Madonna University Crusaders hosted the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers for a doubleheader.  The Crusaders defeated the Racers 9-1 in the first game, and 4-3 in the second game.  The Racers picked up a 12-5 victory over the Crusaders on Saturday.  Both teams were scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday, but the second game was cancelled because of bad weather.  Scroll down to check out exclusive photos from the second game of Friday's doubleheader.
     The Madonna University Crusaders, and the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers are both NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) programs, and both schools compete in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).  Click on the links below for more information about the NAIA, or the WHAC.
     The Madonna University baseball team currently has an overall record of 17-13, and the Crusaders are 7-3 in the WHAC.  The Crusaders play their home games at Ilitch Ball Park, in Livonia.  Click on the link below for more information about the Madonna University athletic program.

     Terry Foster was a sports writer for the Detroit News for 27 years before retiring last December.  Foster also wrote a book called "100 Things Tiger Fans Should Know and Do Before They Die".  Foster is the co-host of an afternoon radio show that can be heard weekdays from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. on 97.1 The Ticket.

The New WWE.com

     WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) recently made significant changes to www.wwe.com  The new, and improved website features more news, and information about everything going on in the WWE Universe.  The official website now features way more video clips, interviews, and backstage photos.  Click on the link below for more information about World Wrestling Entertainment.
