     The Oakland County Football Club YouTube channel currently has 115 videos for fans of OCFC.  Some of the videos on the Oakland County Football Club YouTube channel include "Oakland County FC vs Flint City | Match Highlights | June 3, 2023", "First Preseason Training Session Vibes of 2023 | Oakland County FC", "2023 Oakland County FC Tryouts | RECAP", and "Player Spotlight: Keith Larson |Oakland County FC".  The Oakland County Football Club YouTube channel currently has 215 subscribers.

     Oakland County FC competes in the USL (United Soccer League) League Two Great Lakes Division.  OCFC is currently in 5th place in the USL League Two Great Lakes Division standings with 9 points, and an overall record of 2-3-3 (3 draws).  OCFC is scheduled to play their next home game against Midwest United FC on Saturday, July 1st, at Royal Oak High School.

Bear Clan 10-7 Lah-De-Dahs

     On Sunday, June 18th, the Flat Rock Bear Clan defeated the Greenfield Village Lah-De-Dahs 10-7 in a Vintage Base Ball match that was played on Walnut Grove Field at Greenfield Village.  Vintage Base Ball, or Historic Base Ball is played by the rules of 1867.  Greenfield Village is located at 20900 Oakwood Blvd, in Dearborn, Michigan.  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of Vintage Base Ball in Dearborn.

-  The Greenfield Village Lah-De-Dahs opened up their 2023 season at home on Saturday, June 17th against the Northville Eclipse.

-  The Greenfield Village Lah-De-Dahs are scheduled to host the Wyandotte Stars today at noon.

-  The Greenfield Village Lah-De-Dahs are scheduled to host the Monitor Base Ball Club of Chelsea tomorrow at noon.

-  The Flat Rock Bear Clan are scheduled to play at Greenfield Village two more times this season.

Motor Muster 2023

     Motor Muster 2023 took place last weekend at Greenfield Village.  The event featured hundreds of vehicles from the 1930's through the 1970's.  There were also old bicycles, commercial vehicles, boats, military vehicles, and motorcycles on display.  Motor Muster 2023 also featured live music, and a Pass-In-Review Parade.  Greenfield Village is located at 20900 Oakwood Blvd, in Dearborn, Michigan.  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of Motor Muster 2023.

There were commercial vehicles, and military vehicles on display at Motor Muster 2023.

There were also old bicycles, and motorcycles at Motor Muster 2023.

Churchill Downs Suspends Racing

 

     Thoroughbred Horse Racing at Churchill Downs is scheduled to be suspended from June 7th - July 3rd according to the Churchill Downs website.  The pause is due to a number of horse fatalities that have taken place since April 27th including several horses that died after racing at Churchill Downs on the day of the 2023 Kentucky Derby.  The rest of the Spring season is scheduled to be moved about two hours away to Ellis Park Racing & Gaming located in Henderson, Kentucky beginning on Saturday, June 10th.  Churchill Downs is located in Louisville, Kentucky. 

     On Saturday, May 5th, Mage won the 2023 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs as a 15-1 longshot.  On Saturday, May 20th, National Treasure won the 2023 Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland at 5/2 final odds.  The 2023 Belmont Stakes is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 10th at Belmont Park located in Elmont, New York.  There will be no Triple Crown winner in 2023.

Lions Acquire Patterson

 

     On Thursday, May 25th, the Detroit Lions acquired Kicker #36 Riley Patterson in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars.  The Jaguars get a 2026 conditional 7th round draft pick in exchange for Patterson.  Riley Patterson made 13-14 field goal attempts for the Detroit Lions in 2021.  Patterson played college football at the University of Memphis.  Riley Patterson is from Edwardsville, Illinois.

Vultures 42-27 Scorpions

 

     On Friday, May 12th, the Baltimore Vultures defeated the Arizona Scorpions 42-27 to win the SFL (Simulation Football League) Season 20 Championship.  The Championship game was played at Fatality Field located in a simulated version of Phoenix, Arizona.  The Baltimore Vultures have won four consecutive SFL Championships.

     Baltimore Vultures Quarterback #9 Jack Wigmore was named Player of the Game.  Wigmore completed 37-45 passing attempts for 407 yards, and 4 touchdowns.  A replay of the SFL Season 20 Championship can be seen on the simulationfl YouTube channel.

On Saturday, May 20th, LCFC defeated Michigan Stars FC Semi-Pro 2-1.
