Semi-Pro Football: GLFL News
The GLFL (Great Lakes Football League) is a semi-pro football league that currently features 9 teams from across the State of Michigan. The GLFL is divided into two divisions, and teams include the Capital City Stealth, the Muskegon Mustangs, the Michigan Hurricanes, the Northern Michigan Wolves, the Lake Michigan Havoc, the Detroit Ravens, the Detroit Seminoles, the Detroit Diesels, and the Flint Fury. The Detroit Ravens won the 2016 GLFL Championship by defeating the Muskegon Mustangs 48-28 on September 10th, 2016. The Detroit Ravens finished the 2016 season with an overall record of 12-0. On Tuesday, December 6th, the University of Michigan Dearborn Junior Varsity Men's basketball team defeated the Olivet College Junior Varsity Men's basketball team 75-63. The Olivet College Varsity Men's basketball team competes in Division III of the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association). The University of Michigan Dearborn Varsity Men's basketball team competes in Division II of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics). Chicago 4 - 1 USA

| On Saturday, the Chicago Steel defeated the USA NTDP U-18 Team 4-1. |
On Saturday, December 3rd, the Chicago Steel defeated the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-18 Team 4-1. Team USA outshot the Steel 31-23. Both teams compete in the USHL (United States Hockey League). Saturday night's game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth. The USA NTDP is currently in 8th place in the Eastern Conference of the USHL with 11 points, and an overall record of 5-11-1 (1 overtime loss). Catholic Central 2-2 St. Mary's

| On Saturday, the Detroit Catholic Central Shamrocks skated to a 2-2 tie against the Orchard Lake St. Mary's Eaglets. |
On Saturday, December 3rd, the Detroit Catholic Central Shamrocks skated to a 2-2 tie against the Orchard Lake St. Mary's Eaglets. The Shamrocks were able to earn a 2-0 victory over the Eaglets the previous night. Saturday night's game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth.
