| Adrian College defeated Eastern Michigan University 7-5 on Saturday night. |
The Adrian College Bulldogs came into the Taylor Sportsplex on Saturday night ranked #6 in the Nation according to the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) Poll. Adrian defeated the Eastern Michigan University Eagles 7-5, but the game was a back and forth battle. The Bulldogs opened up a 3-0 lead, but the Eagles came back, and actually lead the game late in the third period. The Adrian Bulldogs scored 2 quick goals, and then added an empty net goal in the final minute of regulation. Both schools compete in Division I of the ACHA, and both teams are Conference rivals in the GLCHL (Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League). The Adrian Bulldogs are currently in 1st place in the GLCHL Conference standings with 33 points, and an overall record of 16-2 (1 overtime loss).
