Wolverine Hoops in Dearborn















     The University of Michigan Dearborn basketball team (pictured above) hosted the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers on Wednesday night.  The Racers defeated the Wolverines 65-44.  Wolverines Senior guard #2 Jamiel Strickland lead all scorers with 18 points, and #15 Ed Jenkins lead the Racers in scoring with 11 points.  #32 Jason Penn accumulated 8 rebounds on Wednesday night.  Penn is a 6'8 forward playing in his Freshman season for the Wolverines.  Scroll down to see some exclusive photos from Wednesday nights college basketball showdown.
     The University of Michigan Dearborn basketball team competes in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), and the team plays in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference) along with 11 other schools.  The Wolverines have an overall record of 1-6, and the team is currently 0-2 in the WHAC.
