The University of Michigan Dearborn basketball team (pictured above) hosted the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers on Wednesday night. The Racers defeated the Wolverines 65-44. Wolverines Senior guard #2 Jamiel Strickland lead all scorers with 18 points, and #15 Ed Jenkins lead the Racers in scoring with 11 points. #32 Jason Penn accumulated 8 rebounds on Wednesday night. The University of Michigan Dearborn basketball team competes in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), and the team plays in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference) along with 11 other schools. The Wolverines have an overall record of 1-6, and the team is currently 0-2 in the WHAC.
