The Eastern Michigan University hockey team competes in Division I of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and the Eagles play all of their home games at the Taylor Sportsplex. EMU competes in the GLCHL (Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League) along with six other local schools. The Eagles are currently in 7th place in the GLCHL standings with 8 points and an overall record of 4-11. EMU is currently ranked 46th in the Country according to the ACHA Division I Poll. Last Sunday, the Eastern Michigan University hockey team outshot Slippery Rock University 52-28, and the Eagles earned themselves an 8-3 victory. The Slippery Rock University hockey team competes in the CHMA (College Hockey Mid-America) Conference, and the Rock is currently in 6th place in the CHMA with 13 points, and an overall record of 6-8. Slippery Rock is currently ranked 36th in the Country according to the ACHA Division I Poll.
