-  NFL Free Agency officially began yesterday at 4:00 p.m.





-  The Detroit Lions released DeAndre Levy yesterday.





-  The Northwestern University men's basketball team has never played in the NCAA Tournament.





-  John Stockton's daughter Laura Stockton plays for the Gonzaga University women's basketball team.





-  Team Israel is currently undefeated (3-0) in the World Baseball Classic.





-  Ian Kinsler (Detroit Tigers) is currently playing for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic.  





-  Jimmy Howard has 15 starts in net for the Detroit Red Wings this season (2016-2017).  Howard has played in 17 games.





-  The MHSAA Hockey State Playoffs are taking place this weekend at the USA Hockey Arena.





-  Keith Thurman is currently the unified welterweight World Champion.  He is the WBA (World Boxing Association) Champion, and the WBC (World Boxing Council) Champion.





-  Conor McGregor's middle name is Anthony (Antoin in Irish).
