Big 3 On FS1






     The Big 3 Professional Basketball League debuts tonight on FS1 (Fox Sports One).  The Big 3 League was founded by Ice Cube, and features former NBA (National Basketball Association) All-Stars such as "Mr. Big Shot" Chauncey Billups, Allen Iverson, Kenyon Martin, Mike Bibby, and Jermaine O'Neal.  The Big 3 League is an indoor, half court 3 on 3 style tournament featuring 8 teams for the 2017 season.
     There are no uniforms, or foul outs in the Big 3 League.  Teams have unique names like Ball Hogs, Killer 3s, and 3's Company.  Some of the coaches in the Big 3 League include Clyde Drexler, Gary Payton, and Julius "Dr. J." -  Former Pistons Forward Rick Mahorn is a Coach for Trilogy.



-  Former Pistons Forward Jerome Williams "Junk Yard Dog" plays for Power.



-  Former Pistons Guard "Mr. Big Shot" Chauncey Billups is the Captain of Killer 3s.



-  Former Pistons Guard Mike James plays for Tri-State.



-  The Big 3 Professional Basketball League features a 4 point shot.

  1. The Big 3 won't be able to last more than two seasons. The players are old, and they get injured easily. Too many injuries, and a decline in popularity will lead to a league that becomes dormant after two seasons.

  2. I'll play my old PlayStation games if I want to see Chauncey Billups, Allen Iverson, and Mike Bibby.

  3. The Big 3 is going to need to change the team names, and change the way they pick teams. College Alumni teams, or teams made of former Lakers, Celtics, etc. will improve the interest in the league. The Big 3 is just to random right now, and the teams sound the same.
