Greg Kampe is in his 35th season as Head Coach of the Oakland University Men's basketball team. Only Jim Boeheim of Syracuse (42 seasons), and Mike Krzyzewski of Duke (38 seasons) have been at the helm of one school longer than Greg Kampe. The Oakland University basketball team became a NCAA (National Collegiate Athletics Association) Division I program in 1999. The Golden Grizzlies qualified for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in 2005, 2010, and 2011.
The Oakland University Men's basketball team currently has an overall record of 0-2. The Golden Grizzlies will be on the road tonight to take on UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) at 10:00 p.m. Tonight's game can be listened to live on 1130 AM WDFN The Fan.
