| On Tuesday, April 2nd, the University of Michigan Dearborn baseball team swept the Madonna University Crusaders. |
On Tuesday, April 2nd, the University of Michigan Dearborn baseball team swept the Madonna University Crusaders in both games of a doubleheader. The University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines were the home team, but both games were played at Ilitch Park in Livonia. The Wolverines defeated the Crusaders 11-9 in the first game, and 8-4 in the second game. Scroll down to see exclusive photographs from the first game of last Tuesday's doubleheader.
The University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines, and the Madonna University Crusaders are both NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) programs, and both teams compete against each other in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference). The University of Michigan Dearborn baseball team currently has an overall record of 13-14-1 (1 tie is a suspended game to be resumed on a later date), and the Wolverines are 6-2 in the WHAC. The Madonna University baseball team currently has an overall record of 22-13, and the Crusaders are 6-2 in the WHAC.
