Eastside 12-0 Utica

     On Saturday, May 25th, the Eastside Diamond Hoppers defeated the Utica Unicorns 12-0.  Both teams compete against each other in the East Division of the USPBL (United Shore Professional Baseball League).  Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of USPBL action.
     The 2019 USPBL season features 4 teams including the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers, the Westside Woolly Mammoths, the Eastside Diamond Hoppers, and the Utica Unicorns.  The USPBL plays all of their games at Jimmy John's Field located at 7171 Auburn Road, in Utica.
     The Utica Unicorns are currently in 1st place in the USPBL East Division standings with an overall record of 9-2.  The Eastside Diamond Hoppers are currently in 2nd place in the USPBL East Division standings with an overall record of 5-4.  Click on the link below for more information about the USPBL.

-  On May 25th, Diamond Hoppers Pitcher #21 Luis Contreras took a no hitter into the 6th inning.  Contreras pitched 7 scoreless innings, and accumulated 11 strikeouts.



-  Diamond Hoppers Outfielder #19 Pat Adams is from Warren, Michigan.  Adams played college baseball at Wayne State University.  



-  The Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers are currently in 1st place in the USPBL West Division standings with an overall record of 3-5.    



-  The Westside Woolly Mammoths are currently in 2nd place in the USPBL West Division standings with an overall record of 2-8.



-  The USPBL was featured on the Mitten State Sports Report in August, 2018.
