On Friday, September 27th, the Grand Valley State University Lakers defeated the Schoolcraft College Ocelots 6-1. The game was played at the Redford Ice Arena located at 12400 Beech Daly Road, in Redford. The Lakers also defeated the Ocelots 7-1 on Saturday night in Grand Rapids. Both schools compete in Division 3 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association).
The Grand Valley State University hockey team currently has an overall record of 4-2. The Lakers also field an ACHA Division 2 hockey team. The Schoolcraft College Ocelots currently have an overall record of 0-6. - Ron Clark is the Head Coach of the Grand Valley State University ACHA Division 3 hockey team.
- Charlie Link is an Assistant Coach for the Lakers ACHA Division 3 hockey team.
- Robert Lindsay is the Head Coach of the Schoolcraft College hockey team.

I didn't know Schoolcraft had a hockey team. They only had a basketball team, and a soccer team when I went there.
