USHL Season Wrap Up

 


The Dubuque Fighting Saints earned the fourth spot in the USHL Eastern Conference Playoffs.





     The USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) did not qualify for the 2021 USHL (United States Hockey League) Playoffs.  The Dubuque Fighting Saints (Iowa) earned the fourth, and final spot in the USHL Eastern Conference Playoffs with 53 points, and an overall record of 24-23-4-1 (4 overtime losses, and 1 shootout loss).  The USA NTDP finished in 5th place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 52 points, and an overall record of 22-24-4-4 (4 overtime losses, and 4 shootout losses). 

     The Chicago Steel are the top seeded team in the 2021 USHL Eastern Conference Playoffs with 81 points, and an overall record of 38-11-3-2 (3 overtime losses, and 2 shootout losses).  The Steel will host the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the first round.  The Muskegon Lumberjacks will host the Green Bay Gamblers in the other Eastern Conference 1st round matchup.  

     The Tri-City Storm (Nebraska) are the top seeded team in the USHL Western Conference Playoffs.  The Storm finished the regular season with 64 points, and an overall record of 30-18-3-1 (3 overtime losses, and 1 shootout loss).  The Storm will host the Fargo Force in the 1st round.  The Omaha Lancers will host the Sioux City Musketeers in the other Western Conference 1st round matchup.

The Muskegon Lumberjacks will host the Green Bay Gamblers in the 1st round of the USHL Playoffs.




The USA NTDP did not qualify for the 2021 USHL Playoffs.



The Chicago Steel finished the 2021 regular season with the best record in the entire USHL.

-  The Muskegon Lumberjacks finished the 2021 USHL regular season with 72 points, and an overall record of 34-16-2-2 (2 overtime losses, and 2 shootout losses).    


-  The Omaha Lancers, the Sioux City Musketeers, and the Fargo Force all finished the 2021 USHL regular season with 63 points. 


-  Chicago Steel Forward #26 Sean Farrell lead the USHL in points this season with 101 (in 54 games).   


-  Chicago Steel Forward #27 Matt Coronato lead the USHL in goals this season with 48 (in 54 games).
