On Saturday, September 3rd, the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers played the Utica Unicorns in a doubleheader at Jimmy John's Field in Utica. The Unicorns defeated the Beavers 4-4 in a "Sudden Death" format in the first game of the doubleheader. The Beavers beat the Unicorns 4-2 in the second game of the doubleheader. The Utica Unicorns finished the 2022 USPBL regular season in 1st place in the East Division standings with an overall record of 28-16. The Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers finished the 2022 USPBL regular season in 1st place in the West Division standings with an overall record of 22-22. Championship Weekend runs from September 9th - September 11th.

Game Notes
- The Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers are scheduled to play on Saturday night against the winner of the Eastside Diamond Hoppers vs. Westside Woolly Mammoths game scheduled for Friday night.
- The Utica Unicorns have earned a spot in the Championship Game scheduled for this Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
- The Eastside Diamond Hoppers finished the 2022 USPBL regular season in 2nd place in the East Division standings with an overall record of 21-23.
- The Westside Woolly Mammoths finished the 2022 USPBL regular season in 2nd place in the West Division standings with an overall record of 17-27.
