On Saturday, February 11th, the Indiana Tech Warriors defeated the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines 4-0 in Dearborn. The Wolverines earned a 5-0 victory over the Warriors on Friday night in Fort Wayne. Both schools are members of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and both teams compete in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).
Indiana Tech Goaltender #30 Ty Barnhill made 25 saves in the 4-0 shutout victory over the Wolverines on Saturday night. University of Michigan Dearborn Goaltender #31 Kayden Pickles made 34 saves in the 5-0 shutout victory over the Warriors on Friday night. The Indiana Tech Men's hockey team currently has a conference record of 20-2, and an overall record of 29-3. The University of Michigan Dearborn Men's hockey team currently has a conference record of 15-6-1 (1 shootout loss), and an overall record of 17-11-1. The 2023 WHAC Men's Hockey Tournament is scheduled for February 24th - February 26th.
