On Saturday, May 10th, the Iowa Cubs defeated the Toledo Mud Hens 7-6 in 10 innings. Both teams are Triple-A ball clubs that compete against each other in the International League West Division. The Iowa Cubs finished the first half of the regular season standings in 4th place in the International League West standings with a record of 39-35. The Cubs currently have a record of 1-3 in the second half of the regular season. The Iowa Cubs are the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.
The Toledo Mud Hens finished the first half of the regular season standings in 5th place in the International League West standings with an overall record of 39-36. The Mud Hens currently have a record of 1-3 in the second half of the regular season. The Toledo Mud Hens are the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
