Red Sox Familiar Faces

     The 2018 Boston Red Sox are built similarly to the 2014 Detroit Tigers, and the teams even share the same President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski.  This years Red Sox roster also includes some former Tigers from their 2014 team such as Pitcher David Price, Pitcher Rick Porcello, Infielder Ian Kinsler, and Outfielder J.D. Martinez.  The 2014 Detroit Tigers were swept by the Baltimore Orioles in the ALDS (American League Division Series).
     The Boston Red Sox currently lead the Houston Astros three games to one in a best of seven series that will decide who goes to the World Series.  The Red Sox will have to face former Detroit Tigers starting Pitcher Justin Verlander in game five of the ALCS (American League Championship Series).

-  The Boston Red Sox finished this season with an overall record of 108-54.



-  The Detroit Tigers finished the 2014 season with an overall record of 90-72.



-  Former Tigers Pitcher Joakim Soria currently plays for the Milwaukee Brewers.



-  Former Tigers Outfielder Curtis Granderson also plays for the Milwaukee Brewers.
