April:     The Detroit Lions select Jameson Williams.

May:     Tigers offense continues to struggle.

June:     The Pistons draft Jaden Ivey and acquire Jalen Duren.

July:     NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness)

September:    Aaron Judge hits 61st home run (Judge went on to hit his 62nd home run on October 4th).

October:     "Tunnelgate" (Postgame fight at Michigan Stadium)

November:     Michigan beats Ohio State in Columbus 45-23.

December:     Lions are in the playoff hunt!

Worst Record

 

     The Detroit Pistons currently have the worst record in the NBA (National Basketball Association).  The Detroit Pistons are in 15th place in the NBA Eastern Conference standings with an overall record of 8-27.  Detroit sits sixteen games out of first place.  The Pistons have lost eight out of their last ten games, and the team is currently riding a five-game losing streak.  One of the main factors for the team's struggles lately can be attributed to Cade Cunningham's season ending surgery on Friday, December 16th.

     Pistons Forward #44 Bojan Bogdanovic currently leads the team in scoring averaging 20.8 points per game.  Pistons Guard #23 Jaden Ivey (rookie) is averaging 15.5 points per game.  Pistons Center 0 Jalen Duren (rookie) is leading the team in rebounding averaging 8.2 rebounds per game.  Pistons Center #28 Isaiah Stewart is currently averaging 8 rebounds per game.  To end on a positive note, the Pistons rookies are playing well, and the team should be in line for a top lottery pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

-  Pistons Guard #2 Cade Cunningham underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left shin.

-  The Detroit Pistons selected Cade Cunningham with the 1st overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft. 

-  Jalen Duren is listed at 6'11, 250 lbs.  

-  Jaden Ivey played college basketball at Purdue University from 2020-2022.
