Mitten State Sports Report's Series Notes:

-  The Lakers '87' have an advantage at head coach.  They also have more superstars on their roster then the Rockets '94'.

-  The Rockets '94' would rely heavily on Olajuwon. The Lakers '87' have big bodies down low to assist Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on defense.  Olajuwon would have to avoid getting into foul trouble.

-  The Lakers '87' were an exceptional 3-point shooting team.  Magic Johnson, Byron Scott, Michael Cooper, and James Worthy can all hit from long distance.

-  Sam Cassell would be an x-factor coming off the bench for the Rockets '94'.

-  The Lakers '87' have a slightly better all around bench.  The Lakers '87' can also exploit some offensive mismatches in the starting lineup. .

-  The Houston Rocket's '1994' Cinderella story would most likely end against the Los Angeles Lakers '1987'.

Mitten State Sports Report's Series Projection:

Game 1  Los Angeles  107  -  Houston  102

Game 2  Los Angeles  111  -  Houston  99
