-  The 76ers would struggle to win at the Palace!  The '82-83' 76ers were 30-11 on the road!

-  The Pistons backcourt consisting of Isiah Thomas, and Joe Dumars would control the tempo!

-  Bill Laimbeer's 3-point shooting would force Moses Malone out of the paint!

-  Moses Malone, and Julius Erving "Dr. J." would get 'superstar' foul calls in Philadelphia.  They would get into foul trouble at the Palace!

-  The '1988-1989' Pistons were 15-2 during the Postseason!  Their only 2 losses were against the Chicago Bulls!

-  The '1988-1989' Pistons won the NBA Championship!

-  The '1982-1983' Philadelphia 76ers were 12-1 during the Postseason!  Their only loss was against the Milwaukee Bucks!

-  The '1982-1983' 76ers won the NBA Championship!

-  The Pistons roster featured several more nicknames then the 76ers!  This has no affect on the series!

Flat Rock Speedway featured 3 50 lap races last Saturday followed by a firework show!

The 50 Lap Street Stock race was entertaining from start to finish!  Cory Duane picked up the win!

Cory Duane Wins at Flat Rock!

Cory Duane and the #46 car won the Street Stock 50 Lap race at Flat Rock Speedway!

Guy Fire and the #84 car battled for the lead through most of the race!

Cory Duane and the #46 car won the Street Stock 50 Lap race at Flat Rock Speedway last Saturday night!  The evening featured three 50 lap races, followed by a firework show!  The Street Stock race was my favorite race of the evening, and the entire event would have been fit for prime time television!
Scott Selmi and the #24 car lead the Street Stock race early, but Guy Fire, and Cory Duane eventually made their way to the front.  Fire, and Duane battled side by side, but Guy Fire rear ended a car (that was being lapped) with about three laps to go!  Cory Duane and the #46 car held on for the victory!

Steve Cronenwett Jr. and the #21 car won the Late Model 50 Lap Feature!

Cronenwett Jr. and the #21 car picked up the win at Flat Rock Speedway!

Steve Cronenwett Jr. and the #21 car entered last Saturday with the most points (1430) in the ARCA (Automobile Racing Club of America) Late Model Division, and Cronenwett Jr. completed the night with a victory at Flat Rock Speedway!  Cronenwett Jr. cruised his way past the rest of the field to pick up the win in the Late Model 50 Lap Feature!

Robbie Loving and the #16 car won the Figure 8 50 Lap Feature!

The "Motor City Mad Men, and One Crazy Woman" came out to a packed crowd at Flat Rock Speedway, and when the dust settled Robbie Loving and the #16 car won the Figure 8 50 Lap race!  Greg Studt and the #33 stayed close to Loving throughout the race, but Loving held on to pick up the victory!

The packed crowd at Flat Rock Speedway was excited for the Figure 8 50 Lap race!  Robbie Loving picked up the win!

There was a firework show after the races were completed!  The show began slow, but picked up momentum towards the end.  There was a UFO (unidentified flying object) hovering around the sky during the firework display flashing red, and (sometimes) green lights!  Click on the link below for more information about Flat Rock Speedway!
