I recently noticed that the baseball, and softball fields at Heritage Park in Taylor are not being maintained. The infields are filled with weeds, and the outfields are brown. The city of Taylor has hosted the Junior League World Series since 1981, but the event will not take place this year. Golden Hill Little League from Fullerton, California won the 2019 Junior League World Series.

- A team from Boardman, Ohio won the first Junior League World Series back in 1981.
- The JLWS was featured on the Mitten State Sports Report in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
- Chinese Taipei won the Junior League World Series in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.
- Heritage Park is located at 12111 Pardee Road, in Taylor, Michigan.
