CEBL On CBC

 



     2022 CEBL (Canadian Elite Basketball League) games can be seen live on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation).  The 2022 CEBL season features ten teams including the Edmonton Stingers, the Fraser Valley Bandits, the Guelph Nighthawks, the Hamilton Honey Badgers, the Montreal Alliance, the Newfoundland Growlers, the Niagara River Lions, the Ottawa BlackJacks, the Saskatchewan Rattlers, and the Scarborough Shooting Stars.

     Today's CEBL game on CBC featured the top two teams in the league.  The Niagara River Lions defeated the Hamilton Honey Badgers 83-79 in Hamilton, Ontario.  The Hamilton Honey Badgers are currently in 1st place in the 2022 CEBL standings with an overall record of 14-6.  The Niagara River Lions are currently in 2nd place in the 2022 CEBL standings with an overall record of 13-7.  CEBL games conclude with an Elam Ending.

-  The CEBL played their inaugural season in 2019.  


-  The Saskatchewan Rattlers won the 2019 CEBL Championship.  


-  The Edmonton Stingers won the CEBL Championship in 2020, and 2021.  


-  The 2022 CEBL Championship is scheduled for August 14th.
