On Sunday, July 17th, the Detroit Tigers selected Second Baseman Jace Jung with the 12th overall pick in the 2022 MLB (Major League Baseball) Draft. Jace Jung played college baseball at Texas Tech University from 2020-2022. During the 2022 season Jung batted .335 with 14 home runs, and 57 RBI (runs batted in) in 61 games played. During the 2021 season Jung batted .337 with 21 home runs, and 67 RBI in 56 games played. Jace Jung's older brother Josh Jung was selected by the Texas Rangers with the 8th overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft.
