On Saturday, November 5th, the Baltimore Vultures defeated the Arizona Scorpions 27-24 in overtime to win the SFL (Simulation Football League) 19th Season Championship. Vultures Kicker #19 Shark Tarkington kicked the game winning 34-yard field goal in overtime. The Baltimore Vultures have won three consecutive SFL Championships. The SFL 19th Season Championship was played at Sports Gamers Online Stadium in Baltimore.
Baltimore Vultures Quarterback #9 Jack Wigmore was named Player of the Game. Wigmore completed 36-52 passing attempts for 417 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Wigmore also threw 4 interceptions and was sacked 2 times. Vultures Wide Receiver #10 Ivory Ervin made 8 receptions for 152 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Vultures Kicker #19 Shark Tarkington missed a game winning 55-yard field goal with 7 seconds left in regulation.
