| On Sunday, Oakland University (in black) defeated Eastern Michigan University (in green) 10-5. |
On Sunday afternoon, the Oakland University hockey team earned a 10-5 road victory over the Eastern Michigan University Eagles. The game was played at the Taylor Sportsplex, and Oakland University picked up the win, despite being outshot 41-32 by the Eagles. Both teams play in Division 1 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and both clubs compete against each other in the GLCHL (Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League).
