On Saturday, August 10th, the Metro Detroit Raiders defeated the Tri-City Stampede 21-7. Both teams compete in the GLFL (Great Lakes Football League), and last Saturday's game was a 2nd Round Playoff Game played at Riverview Gabriel Richard High School. The Metro Detroit Raiders will now compete against the Muskegon Mustangs in the 2019 GLFL Championship Game tonight (7:30 p.m.) at Fitzgerald High School located at 23200 Ryan Road, in Warren.
The Metro Detroit Raiders currently have an overall record of 12-0. The Muskegon Mustangs currently have an overall record of 13-0. The Muskegon Mustangs defeated the Kalamazoo Titans 33-20 to reach the 2019 GLFL Championship Game. Scroll down to see exclusive photographs of GLFL Playoff football.

Game Notes
- The Flint Fury, the Grand Rapids Seminoles, the Michigan Patriots, the Renaissance City Chargers, the Toledo Thunder, and the Tri-County Crusaders also competed in the 2019 GLFL season.
- The Great Lakes Football League was established in 2006.
- The Michigan Gators were the 1st GLFL Champions back in 2007.
