On Saturday, December 28th, the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks defeated the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) U-18 Team 3-1. The game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth. The University of North Dakota Men's hockey team is a NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division I program. The USA NTDP competes in the Eastern Conference USHL (United States Hockey League).
The University of North Dakota Men's hockey team competes in the NCHC (National Collegiate Hockey Conference), and the Fighting Hawks currently have an overall record of 14-1-2. The USA NTDP is currently in 2nd place in the USHL Eastern Conference standings with 42 points, and an overall record of 21-8.
