On Friday, January 10th, the University of Michigan Dearborn Men's hockey team defeated the Concordia University Cardinals 13-1. The Wolverines also earned a 14-0 victory over the Cardinals the following night. Both schools compete against each other in Division 1 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and both teams are Conference rivals in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference). The University of Michigan Dearborn Men's hockey team currently has an overall record of 15-3-1, and the Wolverines are ranked #5 in the Country according to the latest ACHA Division 1 Poll. The Concordia University Men's hockey team currently has an overall record of 4-18. The Cardinals ice hockey program is in its second season of existence. - The University of Michigan Dearborn Men's hockey team was also featured on the Mitten State Sports Report in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

- Wolverines Junior Forward #24 Billy Brock was named WHAC Offensive Player of the Week. The award was announced Monday night on the official WHAC website.
