On Saturday, April 30th, the Eastern Michigan University baseball team defeated the Bowling Green State University Falcons 6-3 in the second game of a doubleheader. The Falcons earned a 2-1 victory over the Eagles earlier on Saturday in the first game of the doubleheader. The Eastern Michigan University Eagles defeated the Bowling Green State University Falcons 6-5 in the series opener on Friday. The Eagles also defeated the Falcons 19-4 in the series finale on Sunday. The Eagles hit 8 home runs against the Falcons on Sunday. All four games this past weekend were played at Oestrike Stadium in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
The Eastern Michigan University Eagles are currently in 5th place in the MAC (Mid-American Conference) standings with a conference record of 13-15, and an overall record of 19-25. The Bowling Green State University Falcons are currently in 10th place in the MAC standings with a conference record of 10-20, and an overall record of 13-28.

- Eagles Pitcher #35 Trevor House picked up the save in the second game on Saturday. It was House's second save of the season.
- Eagles Outfielder #41 Matt Kirk is currently batting .350 with 12 home runs, and 40 RBI (runs batted in).
