The 2022 Canadian Premier League season features 8 teams including Atletico Ottawa (Ottawa), Cavalry FC (Calgary), FC Edmonton (Edmonton), Forge FC (Hamilton), HFX Wanderers FC (Halifax), Pacific FC (Vancouver Island), Valour FC (Winnipeg), and York United FC (Greater Toronto Area). The CPL is adding Vancouver (Greater Vancouver) for the 2023 season.
Pacific FC is currently in 1st place in the 2022 Canadian Premier League standings with 17 points, and an overall record of 5-1-2 (2 draws). Cavalry FC is currently in 2nd place in the 2022 CPL standings with 11 points, and an overall record of 3-2-2 (2 draws). Atletico Ottawa also currently has 11 points, and an overall record of 3-2-2 (2 draws).
Pacific FC Forward #9 Alejandro Diaz Liceaga currently leads the CPL in goals this season with 5. Pacific FC Forward #10 Marco Bustos currently leads the CPL in assists this season with 4. FC Edmonton Goalkeeper #1 Andreas Raido Karuks Vaikla currently leads the CPL in saves this season with 25.
